The Davidson Lands Conservancy is deeply saddened to report that our Executive Director Roy Alexander passed away suddenly and unexpectedly the evening of January 11th. Roy was the first and only Executive Director of the DLC. Roy’s contributions to Davidson and to conservation were many. Everyone who lives in or visits Davidson has been touched by the work of Roy Alexander.

The Board of Directors of the Davidson Lands Conservancy is committed to continuing the great work that Roy started in Davidson. Everyone who worked with Roy was affected by the spirit of his passion for conservation, and we will continue to work to fulfill the mission of the Davidson Lands Conservancy.
